My Month In Outfits: What I Wore In June

Check out what I wore in June. Okay, okay and a little bit of July too...

In June I went to a little Pin Up popup I went to with my beloved Lottie L'Amour. I love that there are very few occasions where I think a Dolores Doll isn't the perfect attire. I am wondering if anyone would read my blog if I only ever wore them, ha! It was a lovely event, and the wonderful team from The Painted Lady turned my curls into Victory rolls, and painted my nails. You can read my comprehensive review of my beloved Dolores Doll dresses here.

I also wore one of my treasured Dolores Doll dresses on a date at the beginning of the month. I thought it went well, he didn't. I was a bit sad. But looking at these pictures he we clearly mad. I looked damn hot. Oh well... At least I know what I will be wearing at the next one... Ha!

Floral Hair Garland - Primark

I tried out this festival look with River Island on the blog this month. I love the edginess that the DMs add to this otherwise pretty hippy outfit. Perfect for festivalling. Read my full review here.

Another absolute beauty from River Island Plus. I feel incredibly sexy in this dress, which goes to show that sexy is not about cleavage and short skirts, or about body con - it really is about how you feel! You can read a full review here.

Black Skinny Jeans - New Look
Sandals - M&S

Before heading to a Navabi event earlier in June I had never heard of designer Johnny Was - and that's the beauty of Navabi, they are a treasure trove of plus size designers. I am in love with this peasant blouse - it has a loose, casual fit which is perfect for summer. The embroidered is gorgeous and vibrant, and the colour is so summery I feel like an ad for some exotic destination. Navabi have some gorgeous pieces on their website now, so go and check them out!

Zizzi Black Chiffon Dress - Navabi
Black Fur Trimmed Cardigan - Evans

Some days I need to leave the colour behind and just go for all black. There is no quicker way to instantly feel chic and sophisticated than to don all black! This simple chiffon dress from Navabi is super easy to wear, and can be dressed up or down easily. Love!

Handbag - Thrifted
Shoes - Primark

I love this monochrome look, especially as it is great for work and for evenings out. You can read the full review here

In June I spent a wonderful day at Ascot with the lovely team from Studio 8, and I got to wear this gorgeous dress and spend the day drinking bubbles, laying bets and having a delicious afternoon tea. You can read more about it here

The next couple of pics were actually taken over the first weekend in July at a bachelorette weekend in the Cotswolds, but I figured I would include them here because why not...

Black Leggings - Primark
Flip Flops - Haviana
I love this tunic dress - it's comfortable for travel but glam too, making it the perfect outfit for a car ride to the Cotswalds and drinks when we got there. Read my full review of the tunic here

On the second day in the Cotswolds we played lots of outdoorsy games and did lots more drinking (naturally) so this casual denim piece from Evans was a perfect - full review here.

Cropped Cardi - Primark
Belt - Primark
Shoes - Primark

On Saturday evening I wore this beautiful emerald dress from Voodoo Vixen, as we dressed up for a lovely dinner and many many drinks. I wrote a full review on the dress here.

Lyra Dress - Lady V London

On the last day of our little Cotswold adventure the sun was high in the sky and we went for a long walk to the nearest pub. And what's my go to dress for comfort, ease of  wear and super prettiness and femininity - my Lyra dresses. You can read my ode to Lyra, the perfect for everything dress, here.

This random English weather is certainly keeping me on my toes, and I have yet to back away my transitional spring wardrobe or get out my proper summer sundresses because I have no idea what will be around the corner! So what have you been wearing in this mixed bag of a summer so far? Let me know below...

  3. My wife Nop Huy will love it. It's really really nice on you. In my country the weather is hot and dress is suitable for women in these day, especially the summer but I wonder if these dresses are needed to use iron on iron board to make it straight. By the way, Thank you!!!
