All the Excitement! I'm a Brand Ambassador for Scarlett & Jo

My favourite prom skirt, from a previous collection
Today I am absolutely delighted to announce that I am the newest brand ambassador for Scarlett & Jo! I am really excited to be associated with a body positive brand who prioritise listening to their customers, and engaging with the plus size community, rather than assuming what women might want from fashion.  So, I am pretty thrilled to be on board!

Me modelling the Atonement Green Velvet Maxi

The team at Scarlett & Jo really are pushing boundaries. When they launched their website a couple of months ago, the collection was modelled on women ranging in size from a 14  to a 32. It was great to see the same item on different bodies, because I don’t know about you but I really struggle to envisage how things will look on me when I can only see them on a size 12 model, or a heavily padded 10.
Probably my favourite S&J style - a 40s tea dress in jersey (from a previous collection)
Fan print tea dress (from a previous collection)

Unlike a lot of plus size retailers who seem hell bent on dictating what plus size women can and cannot wear, Scarlett & Jo are all about feedback. They are interested in making clothes that women want to wear, that make them feel empowered, beautiful, and sexy. And that can be seen shining through in the many pictures online of women wearing the team’s creations.

So, yes, they are right up my alley! There is some really exciting stuff coming up for Scarlett & Jo in the new year, and I will be hosting a competition here in January (as part of blog birthday celebrations), so stay tuned!
