My Month In Outfits: What I Wore In February

A quick look at some of my outfits from February...

Turquoise Black Polka Dot Dress - Lindy Bop (similar here)
Red Swallow Embroidered Cardigan - Collectif

The Lana dress from Lindy Bop is truly one of my favourites, and she is available in many different prints and colours - perfect for every occassion. I love this colour combination too - red and turquoise remind me of a 50s diner. Awesome.

Black and White Houndstooth Dress - Lovedrobe (previous collection)
Leggings - Primark
Brown Leather Boots - Evans

I haven't worn this dress in ages, and I am not sure why. I love the way the tie draws it in at the waist, and the skirt is short and flirty. I love that Lovedrobe does shorter dresses in plus size because I like to show off some leg! You can read a full review I did of this dress here.

Red Batwing Top - Asos Curve (old)
Vintage Beads - Charity Shop
Black Jeans - Evans

I have had this bat wing top from Asos for years, and it is still one of my favourites (again sorry for the rubbish photo). As you know, I love dresses, but this top is just great with trousers. Super comfy, and great with a statement necklace.

Velvet Leopard Print Wiggle Dress -  Lindy Bop

Oh God, I seriously deliberated over what to wear to meet plus size icon and babe Beth Ditto when I went to the London launch of her new collection. There were a few options bouncing around but I eventually settled on this saucy number. I had actually been saving this for a photoshoot I was down to do this year, but decided this was the perfect first outting for this fierce dress. It's a very fitted wiggle dress - the most fitted I've ever worn. To be honest when I first tried it on I was really concerned about the VBO (visible belly outline), but it shows me how far I've come as about half an hour after I got dressed I had totally forgotten to feel self conscious and instead was actually feeling pretty sexy as the dress was hugging my curves. The cross over neckline has a proper plunge, so I decided to wear it with this yummy harness from Pornographie. I wore it to the launch party later that night too, and despite the fact that there were some truly flamboyant, and wonderfully dressed individuals there I still felt pretty damn HOT!

I reviewed this dress earlier in the month. As I said then, I think it's pretty much perfect for a date as it's romantic, a little bit sexy with it's flirty neckline, and super comfortable. I love dresses that you pretty much forget you're wearing. And this one doesn't need any shape wear. But everything you need to know is in the review.

Wide Belt - Primark

This is my favourite work dress. It's professional and smart, but at the same time it's striking and the bold print is just gorgeous! It's another super comfortable, easy to wear dress. I reviewed it here last year but it's still available over on Simply Be if you are keen. Sorry for the crappy picture taken in the lift at work.

Striped Tee Dress - MissGuided
Vintage Beads - Charity Shop
Leggings - Primark
Black Leather Boots - Topshop

I went a little out of my comfort zone with this over sized Miss Guided Tee dress. I ordered it in a 24 instead of my usual 22 to make sure it had that casual, over sized feel. I love how effortless this look is. And by adding some jewelry I've made it my own. Plus I've added it to my small but growing collection of casual outfits. Yay!

What have you been wearing lately? Are you looking forward to Sping and changing up your wardrobe? Let me know below...
