She's a Tease: Curvy Kate's Tease Balcony Bra in Black and Purple

Okay, I'm gonna say it. Curvy Kate's Tease bra is my favourite! It's pretty and sexy, gives my rack a wonderful shape, and is comfortable enough for day wear, but saucy enough for the bedroom. 

I got my first Tease bra about 18 months ago - a gorgeous cranberry and cream colourway. Of all the bras in my full to bursting lingerie drawer it's the most worn, and it's still holding up (lol, pun) pretty well. So when the luscious lasses at Curvy Kate offered to send me something from their latest collection I opted once more for the Tease, this time in black and plum. 

Tease Black and Plum Padded Balcony Bra - Curvy Kate

The Tease is a padded balcony bra. There is a plum underwater to the cups, with a black dobby mesh overlay. The cups are edged with a thick, black, scalloped lace, threaded through with wide plum ribbon. Their are coordinating bows at the central gore, and where the straps meet the cups. The whole thing has a bit of a saloon girl vibe to me, which I kinda love. 

I am usually a 38F in Curvy Kate, and was in my previous Tease bra, so I opted for the same again. The fit is pretty bang on. The three part cup construction gives me great support and lift, which is what my bottom heavy boobs need in a bra. The band is firm, but does occasionally roll up at the sides - I think it's because the elastic that edges it could do with being thicker in order to sit flat on a plus size body - it rolls on my rolls, lol! But all in all I do love this bra - it's pretty, gives me a lovely shape, is comfy, and the colour combo is vampy. It also has matching shorts which aren't too skimpy (my pet hate in pants) and have removable suspender straps. Hot!
